to SMASH some records...!

OK smash might be a bit of an over exaggeration!! Am keeping it short a sweet today. A few weeks ago I talked about refocusing and starting so running training on my treadmill. I downloaded a 10km training program designed for treadmill running.... I set the incline to 1 as that's what's recommended for the treadmill....

2 weeks ago - 4km in 30mins 11secs
Today- 4km in 29mins 17secs!!!!

I am so stoked to have cracked under 30mins! Another goal achieved! I would really love to be able to do 5km in under 30mins but for now, this'll do!

BOOM!!

    I ran my best time for 4km ever outside but cannot match it on treadmill.
    What is the 10km treadmill program.
    I was running at incline 1 for ages but I took it to 0 to try to get my distance first.

    1. No Trish I haven't heard of that group! Will have to check it out! Do you mean that your time on the treadmill is slower than your outside time? I am not quite brave enough to run outside just yet as it's too cold! Figure if I power through winter indoors on the treadmill I'll be good to go outside come Spring. I did some googling and came across a blog that recommended http://www.halhigdon.com/ so checked it out and downloaded a plan! (BTW...knocked over a minute off my 3km time this arv!)
