We headed away from the Big Apple and our first stop was Philadelphia.

After a short break we were off to our first stop, Washington DC. Home to many many monuments and memorials to all the great leaders and battles throughout time, it was moving to see them at night time on our Illumination Tour.
And then again during the day...
And now we are in Charlotte, North Carolina. On the way into town we stopped at Latta Plantation, a historic farm museum that demonstrates the lifestyle, farming, slaves and settlers in the area in the 1800's.
