a Pinterest win!!

Saw this on Pinterest and thought I would give it a go and it worked!!





And it's still going strong!

    1. Yeah that would be a problem Bree! It goes a bit yucky but I don't think I changed the water enough and also the har they used was a lot shorter, like a jam jar!

  5. That's amazing! Is it leeks or spring onions?

    I saw a similar pin on Pinterest about growing celery from the stump, alas, it didn't work for me :-(

    1. It's Spring Onions! Haven't seen the celery ones! Don't dispair I've had plenty of Pinterest fails trust me!!

    1. haha...no Em you were not the only one! Yes it is spring onion, eventually the water goes a little funky, perhaps I didn't change it enough! But still saves a little bit of money and every little bit helps!
