Finding other awesome Instagrammers to follow also feeds my wanderlust with my feed filled with amazing travel photos from around the world.
Like most social media there are things about Instagram that I don't understand. I've read a few articles about how to grow your following and I am seeing a steady increase. I try and follow a pattern of uploading high quality photos twice a day at set times. I use popular hashtags and interact as much as possible with my followers and people I follow (although I must admit I need to improve this). What I don't understand is what makes people like some photos and not others. Some photos that I have uploaded that I love and am sure are going to get big likes get a mediocre response while others that are good photos but that I sometimes hesitate to upload because they are not my best get a roaring response. I suppose you just never really know what people are after when looking and liking photos. I am not sure there is a way to track which hashtags brought people to your photo but as far as I know there is not.
So here are some of my recent Instagram photos from my trip to the US and Canada, some that were big hits and some that were little hits...
Clicking any of the photos above should take you to my Instagram account but if not, you can always click here. I look forward to checking out your accounts as well.
